MY FIRST DESIGN JOB

I was fortunate to spend an amazing summer in 2011 as an intern at Trek Bicycle, in Waterloo, WI. This was my first experience working directly with a professional design team, and I took advantage of understanding, growing and learning as much as I could in the limited time I had that summer.

My first day started with a fairly concise and open-ended design brief: design a folding bicycle. I was given quite a bit of autonomy as I gathered research, created concepts and ultimately made a final presentation. The entire experience was fantastic and a lot of fun.
