Milwaukee Tool has become a leader in heated clothing with jacket and hoodie offerings for jobsite wear.
The heated gloves launched in fall 2018 build upon this success and expertise. The goal with this project was to design a pair of jobsite-ready heated gloves that could also transition to lifestyle applications.

Cold weather construction needs are different compared to a typical warm weather work day; however, tasks like moving material or operating equipment are still on the punch list. Designing a pair of successful heated gloves meant focusing on three major items:

DEXTERITY: The heavy construction and supplemental heaters limit extremely fine work, but a user can easily handle a drill or saw on a cold day

COMFORT: Consideration for battery placement and gauntlet design, as well as next to skin liner materials made for all day comfort

DURABILITY: We used Milwaukee's jobsite-proven GRIDIRON fabric for the outer shell and a Hipora liner keeps the weather out
